Coping Through Coaching with Erin
Hi, I’m Erin Kim, Master Certified Life Coach at New Beginnings Family Counseling, LLC. I believe that everyone has their own story to tell, and their own unique, personal journey. My approach is designed in a way to be a collaborative partnership and help you develop and implement a plan according to your expectations. I aim as a coach to help you chart your path based on your individual experiences. I strongly believe in helping clients build confidence by providing compassion and understanding to help you meet your goals. Through a therapeutic stance I will walk alongside you through your journey and assist in accountability when needed. Our time together is about you. Whatever your goals might be, I’m here to help you navigate your path – every step of the way.
Education and Training
Erin Kim is a Master Certified Life Coach (MCLC) and received her training and professional certification through Life Coach Institute. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Interpersonal Relations, from Ball State University.
Areas of Expertise
Erin draws on her studies in psychology and interpersonal relations to offer sincere and compassionate guidance and feedback that stems from her genuine curiosity and commitment to personal development. Throughout her career, Erin has worked with diverse groups of clients, including adults, youth, and families in the mental health and social services field. She specializes in helping clients through complex life experiences that comprise, but are not limited to, the following areas of therapeutic focus:

Therapeutic Approach
Erin strongly believes in an individualized approach for each client, and sessions vary from person to person. The tenets of her coaching focus on providing a comforting presence, encouragement, compassion, and understanding. Erin’s sessions take place in a judgement-free zone, with a goal of providing clarity and assistance with the life journey of each client.
Hobbies, Interests, and Past Experiences
Erin enjoys traveling, snow skiing and reading a good book. She loves spending time with her family and friends. Her past experiences also include work within the mental health field with ADHD clients, new patient coordinator in the Orthodontic field, and the very important job of being a stay-at-home mother to her three children.
